Kunal K Dansingani, MBBS, MA, FRCOphth is an Associate Professor in the Retina and Vitreous Service in the UPMC Eye Center/Department of Ophthalmology, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.

He attended medical school at the Royal Free Hospital and University College London Medical School, London, attended Graduate Medical Studies at  the University of Cambridge, Cambridge, was a House Officer in Medicine at Luton & Dunstable Hospital, Luton, UK and Senior House Officer in Ophthalmology and Surgery at the Royal Free Hospital, London, UK, Specialist Registrar in Ophthalmology at the Wessex Ophthalmology Programme, UK, and was a  Fellow in Medical and Surgical Retina, Moorfields Eye Hospital, London and a Research Fellow in Retina Vitreous at Retina Macula Consultants of New York, New York, NY.

He held positions as a Honorary Consultant Ophthalmologist and Locum Consultant Ophthalmologist at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London and was a Honorary Consultant Ophthalmologist at Croydon University Hospital. He was also an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

His research interests include ophthalmology and its reliance on different forms of technology, and the necessity to unify themes relating to microsurgery, optics and vision, pathology and in vivo imaging and also the complementary roles of intraoperative depth-resolved imaging and robotic enhancements to microsurgery to expand scope and precision.
